Our teams

Communications

Works with university partners on news and storytelling, produces News at IU and IU Today, manages media relations, leads crisis communications, and oversees IU’s social media presence.

Strategy and Planning

Guides IU's brand, develops integrated marketing campaigns aligned with IU 2030, provides strategic counsel to partners, and coordinates with external creative partners.

Content Strategy

Leads IU’s messaging and content strategies, including planning, creation, distribution, and governance; manages content across IU channels; and provides unit consultation.

Creative Strategy

Oversees IU’s visual identity, creates and maintains visual language resources, and oversees university photography and video production.

Web and Digital Strategy

Defines IU’s digital vision, manages core digital platforms, and establishes policies and best practices for web and customer experience marketing.

Sponsorships, Licensing, and Trademarks

Manages university- and campus-wide sponsorships, licensing agreements, and brand protection, ensuring proper use of IU’s name, marks, and colors.

Conferences and Events

University Events creates and executes in-person brand experiences for the IU community. IU Conferences partners with internal and external groups to organize and host events on IU campuses and beyond.
